Dinka Džubur – CEO / Producer

Chandelier Films is a Gold Coast-based production company focused on producing high quality feature films and television series for the international market. The company was founded by award-winning actor, writer and producer, Dinka Džubur in 2011.

Dinka executively produced Little Hands,  the post-war drama from acclaimed filmmaker Claire McCarthy (The Turning, The Waiting City), co-written by Dinka and Claire and starring Dinka Džubur, Miraj Grbić and Manon Bennett.  The film premiered at the Academy Award®-qualifying film festivals: Flickerfest (Australia) and Pula Film Festival (Croatia) and other 20+ festivals worldwide. Dinka won the International Price for ‘Best Actress’ at the 2016 Sanctuary Cove International Film Festival for her portrayal of Mia in Little Hands.

Prior to establishing Chandelier Films, Dinka spent a year as an in-house producer at Whybin TBWA and BWM Advertising  in Sydney. During this time, Dinka was involved in producing high-budget commercials.

We are currently working on five feature films in various stages of development and a television series.

Dinka holds a Bachelors Degree in Journalism from the University of Queensland and a Fine Arts (Acting) degree from QUT in Brisbane, Queensland.
